TSN (Transfer Settlement Network) is the full settlement infrastructure. TSNP is its on-chain Transfer Settlement Network Protocol. TIP, GPRU, and TCAP are distinct protocol layers.
GPRU guards the integrity and privacy of the user’s private state presented to TCAP for a balance-changing action. Its proof is intended to establish that the hidden state is current and that the proposed transition follows from it. TCAP governs the funds and applies valid authorized changes atomically.
No. A proof is one check in the settlement process. It does not grant custody or replace sender authorization, accepted-asset checks, or TCAP’s reserve and liquidity rules.
Is the hidden-head proof flow available end to end?
It is not established as an end-to-end settlement capability. Confidential debit and exit are also not established as available. Check current capability and network status before relying on a feature.
How does privacy differ between TIN and wallet transfers?
Each TIN settlement is designed as a new opaque record with no public pointer back to its funding transaction or private predecessor. The owner retains that lineage; TSNP/TCAP verify the proof without learning the hidden TIN link. Funding can reveal the sender, amount, and protocol destination, but not the recipient TIN; a shared root or nearby timestamp does not establish that link. Direct wallet-to-wallet transfers expose both wallet addresses. A TIN debit to wallet exit exposes the output wallet and amount, but not the source TIN; observers can follow the output wallet’s later public activity. The hidden-head proof path is currently fail-closed, so this design is not yet verified end to end as a live runtime guarantee.
A request being accepted, verified, or submitted is not the same as settlement. A payment is confirmed only after the relevant Solana transaction succeeds. If funding and credit use separate transactions, check both stages.
